"FOR A FEW BRIEF MOMENTS HE HAD TOUCHED WITH THE VERY TIPSS OF HIS FINGERS THE EDGE OF A MAGIC WORLD."

Reading: George's Marvellous Medicine- Roald Dahl.

So as you should all know a few weeks ago I spent the weekend in France, and have only just got round to getting the photos off my mother to show you all. To try and reduce the number of photos I'm going to post them day by day.

Day 1 was spent travelling to my brother-in-laws parents house near La Rochelle. It was BEAUTIFUL! from the area it was built, to the building its self, to the grounds to the way it was decorated. It was just amazing. The only down side was having to get up at 3:30am, but the legroom in the plane was fantastic! I actually had room to move my legs!

My amazing legroom; La Rochelle market (for fruit, veg, and lunch); the front of my brother- in- laws families home; my sister in the 'old' living room (the original part of the house); the front of house again, the 'new' living room (in the new part of the house).
My brother- in -law in the games room; the bar; the surrounding grounds, my sisters first attempt at pulling a 'boot'- what everyone in the house calls a pink of lager as its custom to use a boot glass for the first drink; 24 degrees INSIDE (it was mid to late 30s); the 'deck' outside mine and my sisters room.
Strange bucket thing; my awesome hat, and my sisters, my lunch of cheese bread and tomatoes (the only veggie things we could find on a Sunday as almost everything closes); my legs MUCH paler than the beige chair cushions; sunset off the Ibiza deck.
My sister and me looking exhausted catching some sun (can you believe we are twins!); the back of the house; the deck again- look how big are rooms stretch to; my sisters drunken pool shot; and trying to show me a coaster (cannot for the life of me remember what it said).

We had a truly awesome time and I can't get over how nice the house is! We had a very tired but fun first day.

I don't think this blog post will be complete without my day 1 outfit posts so here they are.

Necklace: eBay and gift
Creepers (not seen): Camden (similar here)

Leggings: Primark
Necklace: Gift
Shirt: Charity shop

A lot of people ask me where I buy my clothes- and I always feel bad about saying the majority of them are either DIY or charity shops. So I've decided to include in my posts some alternatives to some of the key items I wear. In this case I have decided on my sleeveless denim shirt.

The first and second are from Topshop, and the third from ASOS.

This is my favourite photo of the day- me and my sisters (although I took off my flip flops searching for socks where they kept on their wedges and towered above me for once). They're such beautiful women.
