"WOULD IT BE ENOUGH FOR YOUR TEENAGE LUST? WOULD IT EASE THE PAIN? EASE YOUR BRAIN?"

Listening to: It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It)- The Rolling Stones.

So I'm back from France -I actually got back Wednesday evening but I've not had the chance to do anything other than sleep (which I desperately needed!). Who knew a holiday can leave me this exhausted? Don't get me wrong I had an amazing time (and can't wait to show you all the photos) but I think the few days away from normality lead to the months of lost sleep hitting me like a stack of bricks.

This evening I hope to spend eating something tasty made by my boyfriend and answering all the lovely comment I received while away- I hope you all have had a fantastic week.

Dress/ silk slip: Charity shop
Sleeveless shirt: charity shop
Necklace: Gift/ eBay
Bag: River Island
Tights: Primark
Creepers: Camden

I took these photos a few weeks ago and completely forgot to share them with you all.

I know most people would say a big massive NO to going out wearing a silk slip/ nightie/ lingerie as a dress (my mother was NOT pleased in the slightest) but if Courtney Love can do it why can't I?  My sister had a similar conundrum in France- whether nearly 30 (she looks barely past 21) is too old to wear hot pants. Its not- she looked AMAZING (hopefully photos will come soon) and this is the whole reason I wanted to share it- just to say that if you think you look good in something you should wear it. Forget that its not 'approprite', vast amounts of my wardrobe are lingerie. I also have a lot from men sections of shops.

Time and time I hear " I'm to old for short skirts", "I'm to fat for body con clothing" and my pet hate "I'm too tall for heels". No woman is ever to tall for heels. Especially when the reason is "because I'm as tall/ taller than my boyfriend".  If a man feels emasculated/ like the woman is 'the boss'/ uncomfortable (or whatever) by a woman in heels then hes not worth a woman's time- its just a lack of respect to me.

So you know- where whatever you want. Now to eat my extreme tiredness away!

  3. Vacations are exausting when you return and try to get back into schedule, but at least yours was nice! I love your outfit and all the black and those socks.

Also, I love what you wrote about high heels--I'm not super tall, about 5'8, but sometimes I don't like wearing heels since it makes me shorter than all the guys down here! :( I guess I need to fix my attitude on that.
