Its taken me two and a half hours but I have finally sorted out my make-up storage!
Don't over estimate my collection- it is surprisingly small despite the time taken but I developed the awful habit of simply chucking things in draws/ leaving them in handbags so it took a while to bring it all together in a fancy new craft box! To be honest I'm surprised with what I actually have. I have four Black eyeliner pencils that are only used on my brows (why do I need four?) but only one mascara and liquid eyeliner.
I've also spent the morning with a tasty-smelling olive oil conditioning mask on my head, removing unsightly hair (dam PCOS and male pattern hair growth) and plucking my eyebrows into their thinnest ever shape. I will admit at this present moment I hate them, but I know being trimmed this thin will make them a lot easier to style into massive beautiful caterpillars.
On Saturday Chris kindly treated me to a day in London (his exact words were "I want to spend my entire pay check on Jodie" but although he bought me many things I love I'm a simple girl and was simply happy with just the day out).
Jeans: Topshop (similar here)
Velvet hairband and Cat ring: Topshop
Chris treated me to a Frozen yogurt and managed to pick the perfect flavour for me! Plus bought me this cute handmade button earrings from a lovely lady in Camden, some awesome glasses, and this super cool Beatles inspired tea infuser so I can drink more lovely loose leaf tea (and has offered to buy me a clear teapot next week!! Very, very spoilt).
I am continually impressed with how well Chris knows me and what I like. I'm not saying that after nearly 3 years he shouldn't but me and Chris don't tend to like the same things (he jokes that whatever I choose he will have the opposite) but his gifts are always spot on.
Knowing I wanted to visit a lot of places around central London (including the BEST vegan grocery store -Vx near kings Cross where Chris bought me lots of yummy treats including the best cake in history I reluctantly shared and a fantastic cook book) I had to dress sensibly, so a cosy jumper (as I was shivering all the previous night) and jeans where the best option, and as I love my ASOS flatforms they were there too. Flatform really are the best shoes about- they give you all the benefit of an outfit with heels but none of the dangers (although the cobbled streets of Camden Stables did not agree- its lucky I have rubber ankles and Chris to practically carry me).
I was tapped on the practially empty tube a few times to compliment my shoes- so I am not the only flatform fan. My ASOS flatforms have actually gone down in price to just 15 pounds since I bought them several months ago as has many others, and so now I am lusting over buying both this beautiful blue pair and this floral pair.
What did everyone else get up to over the weekend?
