"I SMELL LIKE I SOUND, I'M LOST AND I'M FOUND".

Listening to: Hungry Like A wolf- Duran Duran.

I've had these last few days off of work and I am BORED! I can't see how people can stay unemployed or only work part time- what else do they do with their lives? Students too? How do you fill your free time?

The only plus side to these days off is that I've finally got round to completing a lot of alterations on clothing I had been leaving for so long, and I can have breakfast in the morning rather than a banana when I get to work. I know have an amazing pair of skinny checked trousers and two new tops! I LOVE DIYing clothes because although I have no money and have not/ will not for a while I can still have new things to cheer me up.

Unitard: ASOS
Jumper: Knitted by my nan
Wedge Sneakers: Topshop
Snood: Primark
Bag: River Island

I've  had this unitard for a while now just sitting in my draw- as its got little studded bits  on it (and a shinny grey) I couldn't think of a suitable time to wear it. But I was having one of those I-Hate-Bras days and this seemed perfect to dress down. Its amazingly comfortable if a little tricky when you're busting for a wee in a freezing cold rehearsal room toilet (why are they never heated!?!).

It really surprised me as one of those items I wasn't quite sure if it was amazing or hideous, and was pretty sure my family would hate it but it seemed to come off as a huge success. I really like the cut out back- making it look a little less like a dance outfit. Unfortunately its no longer available on the ASOS site (i actually got mine via eBay) but here are 3 beautiful alternatives that if money grew on trees would be in my wardrobe.

There are all available from ASOS here, here and here.

  6. I love the jumper, I wish my nan knit but she explained to me VERY early on that she wouldn't so much as sew a button onto something if I begged her LOL.

It is true, everybody needs some kind of mental stimulation.

  21. I like to DIY clothes too, and ya not all of us have bills and bills to spend on new clothes all the time! That would annoy me if someone was to eat off my plate constantly, it's a bit rude as well?! Like, if you like what i order so much that you are eating off my plate constantly, why don't you order it for yourself lol

  27. Haha I'm currently a student and used to find it hard filling my days, too, but this year I have so much to do, between reading for classes, assignments, blogging, and trying to have a social life! I suppose you just get used to filling your time more?
Sounds like you got a lot done, though, so it's not all bad! xx
