Listening to: The Cure- Just Like Heaven

I love Ikea- its propably the best furtanture shop in the whole world and your childhood was missing out if you never went there.

My sister and her fiance was looking for things for when they move out and I urgently needed extra storage in my room (as its bacially two rooms after returning from a year at uni 3 years ago squashed into a tiny box room), and a bedside lamp. Bought some pretty boxes and a very cool lamp which is noway near as bright as I need but Chris has fallen in love with.

It was a very fun day- acting as parent when my sister started bulling her fiance, putting my seat belt on wrong, getting lost driving round Tottenham (lucky was me in the driving seat), and having the hilarious moment when a man was so intent on checking me out that he obviously turned back to stare and walked into my sisters fiance. I am in no way bragging- it was just so funny to watch we were all practically wetting ourselves.

My socks were repeatably falling down all day and the sun is in my eyes in these photos but I loved the opportunity off once again wearing my summer clothes out into autumn. I'm starting to tell that either I cannot buy summer clothes, or I buy clothes that are suitable all year round, or I am really  good at making use of my summer clothes. I have yet to buy new clothes for this season, not that I don't want to (if only my bank was healthy) but more I have so much stuff that already is on trend I can't justify it.

Am I alone in being so ... OK with the a/w season? I love layering  up!

My clear bag has been seen before on this blog (here) but I haven't formally introduced it- after seeing the beautiful Kavita with hers at London Fashion week (you can see it here) I absolutely fell in love with he idea of a clear bag. Blue is much more me but its an obsession I have struggled to cure- I really want to justify another bag and hoping that I can squeeze my account a little before Christmas for a gift for myself. This bag is beautiful in clear (also comes in yellow), and how cute is this clear backpack? Or the more sturdy transparent clutch with the BEAUTIFUL stone on the clasp?

I honestly have no idea how people shop for themselves so much! I work full time and it seems like my wages are swallowed up by bills so quickly! Why can't I have pretty bags and shoes and tattoos every time I feel like them? When can I go on holiday? Why does household bills and car insurance and food shopping have to exist!
