I'm going to start this post with an apology- my dad bought me a kindle fire for Christmas (best present ever) and I love it (honestly compared to the iPad, my iPhone or my notebook this wins hands down) but I'm still getting used to it. You may have already motivating post layout has changed slightly, but that's not what I'm apologising for . I AM REALLY SORRY IF I HAVE DELETED YOUR COMMENTS!!!! The kindle is a LOT more sensitive than my iPhone so I've accidentally clicked on delete a few times . Sorry!!! I Will still reply but as yet I have no idea how to undelete them.
Today I found out I've been shortlisted for a job (but not told when I would have the interview). it's getting a bit silly now waiting around for their interview ect when I'm perfect for the job that I've been doing for the past year- and the manager doing the hiring says he wants me to have it. I just want to put all the ideas I've had for the last 3 months in place. The worse part I'd not that I might not get the job (which is very very unlikely to happen) but if I don't I will be asked to stay to train my replacement.
Waking up New Years Day was the best feeling in the world because not only did I wake up with Chris but as Dylan was scared of the fireworks we let him cone upstairs for s cuddle and woke up with him between our feet. I'm not sure how 2 grown adults and a spread eagles dog shared a single bad but it was cosy ; even if Chris said Dylan had licked his feet in the night and as soon as Dylan woke up in the morning he left us without a thank you.
I can't think of a better dog.
This is what I wore on New Years Eve for our night in, which I cooked my signature Chilli Noodle Soup (would anyone be interested in the recipe?)
Studded to: Primark
Faux Leather Gilet: River Island (similar here)
Studded Shorts: The Ragged Priest (similar here)
Turban: Crown and Glory
Bracelets: Topshop, Gift and Thomas Sabo
Faux Fur Bag: River Island
I amazingly won one of the Ragged Priests 12 days of Christmas giveaway (whoop) and these shirts were my prize and I am beyond happy. They say on their site that as they're vintage they come up a bit tight and they're not kidding- I'm a size 12-14 on my bottom half so opted for a 14 and they're pretty cosy. As in second layer if skin tight- but I think they look good. Even the cut (which is a lot shorter than I would usually buy for shorts) I like- I'm a bit fond on the cheeky flash of bottom (but I don't think I will be wearing them without tights ever).
I basically throw this gilet on over everything lately. It's such an easy way to add a warm layer (it looks amazing under my oversized denim), and love it!
I frequently lust I've the Ragged Priest site (and stroke their concession in the comfort street Topshop) and can easily write a list of things I want. unfortunately they no longer have the shirts I received (they're great so I can see why they're so popular) but they do have them in black and these amazing leather pair (I wish they were faux leather)!
I love this studded shoulder patch jumper too (do so alike the one I DIYed but I can't resist the crop) and (as men's jackets seem to fit me nicer when oversized- and I think I need a studded oversized denim) this jacket is perfect! one thing for certain- this beanie will be mine!!!
Does anyone else have a brand they can't help but lust after?
