On the plus side I've woken up this morning after a night of drinking without a hangover, on the downside it feels like my stomach is eating itself due to too much fruit cider (official Kopperburg fan). Chris had his first Saturday off in months so we decided to make a date day, starting off with shopping in Chelmsford. It wasnt a huge success we saw next to nothing, but Chris bought me an amazing bra from the Ann Summers sale (as I NEVER find bras my size in the sale- let alone cute bra for only £5).
This is what I wore shopping, including leggings Chris bought me for Christmas (he doesn't buy things for me all the time promise) which are both velvet AND studded- what is not to like?
Shirt: H&M men's
Collar Tips: eBay
Faux Leather Gilet: River Island (similar here)
Hat: Charity Shop
Bag: River Island
Lips: Kate Moss for Rimmel in Kiss of Life
Brows: Rimmel Scandal Eyes in purple
This hat is like marmite- either love it or hate it. Many many people were staring at it while I was shopping (nothing new for me) but I love it. I feel like I'm a 90s Phoebe Buffay (Friends) and Chris thinks I look like a member of the Two Non Blonds
I decided to go with the purple theme and colour my brows purple- Rimmels Scandal pencils are super soft so make filling in brows easy peasy.
The shoes were also a gift from Chris (for my birthday) and mega comfortable! they were from the sale do no longer available but Office is the Queen of flatforms- they have a LOT of beautiful styles available . I keel telling myself I don't need more but I can't help but look . These leopard style are as close as you will find to mine (and are oonly £5 in the sale!), and these rainbow pair are a fantastic idea to brighten up all black looks, or these simple black zip pair that will go with pretty much everything (especially jeans) both are £20. Why do I already own so many shoes that everything I would pair these shoes with I already own a pair of shoes? and I can't justify something I don't "need".
Once home we decided to go out for a "burger and a beer" from our local Witherspoons and it was an awful bean burger (which was actually advertised as a vegetable burger which is a big difference), and celebrating with a few ciders and some dancing at the Square for our friends birthday.
in contrast to the awful burger that I started the night with we bought another from a burger joint on the walk home (after the first cold one was exchanged) and it was the best vegetable burger have ever ate!
After last night's burgers I'm slightly tempted to do a veggie burger tour like Hannahs (from Bow Dream Nation) burger blog: London Burger Queen. I'm not a meat eater but some of the combinations sound amazing!
