"WHAT I'VE SUCCUMBED TO IS MAKING ME NUMB."

Listening to: Just A Girl- No Doubt

I think I am the first person ever who has caught the plague and lived yo tell the tale. Tuesday evening I literally thought I was going to die of the pain, I was struggling to see with or without glasses, didn't want to eat or drink from pain and slept the moment I got home one day to getting up the next (well over 14 hours) with few minutes stirring awake.

I'm of course lying I simply caught a virus which made my head feel like it's cracking like an egg. A fair excuse from the lack if blogging this week. But my dad always says "if you don't go to school you don't go out to play" so after refusing to sink beneath my duvet all day instead if work and trying to force myself well by the weekend so I can now go out shopping for some new work shoes tomorrow!

I now feel relatively human. But being ill I'm allowed to post as happy little look that makes me feel all warm- my favourite leopard faux fur coat. I know I've worn it about 2000 times on the blog but I love it.

Coat: New Look
Dress: Primark
Belt: New Look
Snood: knitted by my nan
Tights and socks: Primark
Flatforms: ASOS (similar here)
Lips: wine- Rimmel
Bag: River Island

I am doubtful you will ever see my beloved "Kiss of Life" Rimmel lipstick again- I've completely misplaced it (I think my sister has it) but this wine shade makes a good substitute, along with the ton of other red lipsticks I own.

This look was my attempt at print clashing- I'm not 100% sure how well I've pulled it off but I like the mix of polka dot shoes, domestic my dress (which has suddenly got baggy around my hips :-( ) and leopard print. Plus the mix of black and blue.

I love my coat but it's a few years old now. It's getting a little worn but I love it and urge anyone to buy a fur given the chance. Due to form I won't disappoint with leaving out my usual alternatives: the first is this vintage beaut from ASOS Marketplace, the second from Boohoo could be my costs twin but with buttons, and the third from ASOS Marketplace proving the only thing more cosy than fur is fur with a hood.

Finally I just want to remind everyone to enter my giveaway- which you don't even have to follow me to enter!

Plus with all this who-ha over the demise of Google Reader and GFC you can follow me on Bloglovin here.
