After getting in at 5am Friday night Saturday was a day for relaxation, noodles, cuddles and shopping! Sunday was spent watching the Wizard of Oz, Clueless and the Cat Returns and trying in vain to download photos!
As I've yet to be paid I'm on a bit of a spending ban but in my mind it doesn't include essential beauty products- and that includes a new lipstick, eyeshadow and nail varnish. I decided to go for a bit of a change from the norm and I've bought them in a light purple-lilacy colour!
It's a little odd looking down at my nails and not seeing either black, navy, plumb or something equally dark but a lovely pastal shade! I bought this varnish from Barry M and its perfect (maybe I should do a review?) It's instantly become a favourite- but I've already had people tell me it's not "me".
I personally love the change and the eyeshadow (from collection) it's perfect for a bit of Smokey eyes as its really quite buildable. The only product of the 3 I don't like is the lipstick (also from Barry M). When u swatched it in store it was beautiful but it's a completely different story on my lips. It's no way near as vibrant (yes pastel shades can be vibrant in my mind) and the coverage it appalling. It feels greasy, fades quickly and is a bit of a job to get even. Basically it's a massive let down. I wish I had stuck to my guns and waited to visit MAC- but... for now it does its job.

How awesome is this dress? After seeing this post by Katie and this one by Heidi I was looking to try on the white jersey tee very similar to the one fron Topshop. I MUCH preceded the Primark one, the outfit posts I've seen look better and in the flesh the Topshop one looks a little bit... awful. The dress I'm wearing was on the rack next to these dresses and I feel in love. I practically ran with it to the checkout.
I'm still in the high pony tail but this time it's with a scrunchie. I'll he honest I'm jot a fan of this scrunchie phase but I do wear them for ease. I sleep in one and wear them to work rather than an elastic to rest my hair. I wanted to try it out in an outfit post and I hate it!
I'm sorry but it will never be a fashionable item to me.
The earrings were a giveaway prize from Gogo Philip all the way back in December!! I wear them quite a lot but I'm petrified of losing them so if I go shopping I usually put them in my bag after a few clothes and as I don't usually take outfit photos until the end of the day they're usually forgotten. Anyway I LOVE them!! I call them my "power" earrings they're shouting at me to be the best I can be ( "go Jodie go!") In fact I'm in love with Gogo Philip in general- I can't wait for payday where I can purchase this absolute beauty.
I fancy something gold and chunky to wear alternative to my silver Rabbit R padlock necklace. I've also a complete lack of rings and its like this skull one is made for me, as is this beautifuk sphere :)
I can't wait for the Gogo Philip- Disney collaboration to appear online!
