With 3 weeks until pay day and the weather becoming brighter I thought it was time I updated my wardrobe "make do and mend" style. Basically taking a pair of scissors to clothes I no longer wear.
The first was a pair of shorts dungarees I bought last year but washed up awfully! Plus I decided I didn't really like them. Enter a new crop top.
White top: Charity Shop
Tartan leggings: Topshop
Shoes: Mr Shoe
Dungaree crop top: DIY
Head scarf: Gift
I wore it with a pair of tartan leggings (which II rolled to a cropped pair) I picked up in the sale, and old bra type top I bought from a charity shop and my beautiful white shoes. I love these shoes but after a day with wearing them without socks for the first time has killed my feet. There cut to pieces! I physically have cuts all around my feet where the leather is still stiff.
But I will suffer for my art :)
I'm in a crop top mood as late, and I loved Rhianna's collection for River Island and fell in love with this piece.
But not only did the collection sell out super fast (they say after the collection dropped there was only one skirt in my local store) I couldn't justify the price tag. Hello £6 dungarees and a pair of scissors.
If you're looking for one yourself and dint fancy cutting this season's hot item on a whim (I love any look involving dungarees or pinafores) here is an alternative. Or if you're looking for a cute denim crop in general here's an awesome one from Topshop and Missguided.
