It feels like there is a greater number of bank holidays than usual but (seeing as this is the first year I've not worked them) I won't be complaining. This weekend was spent altering clothes and Saturday was spent at my photo shoot.

I can't wait to share the finished results, and give you a full review of Studio Six- but in a word: FANTASTIC! Kelly was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home (she also said I was a natural but I won't be starting my career as a model any time soon).

Being warm out I dressed to be floaty but protected from the sun yesterday, so choose light layers.

Skirt: vintage
Crop: DIY
Jacket: DIY
Wedge sneakers: Topshop
Belt: New Look
Bag: Gift

I wore my orange checked maxi, but twisted it so I could have a breezy side split, and added the belt so it looked a little less like I couldn't dress myself properly and more intentional. I love this maxi but I often feel Orange isn't the best colour with my hair (walking wotzit), but I'm tempted by this ombre checked skirt from H&M, I've not been a fan of ombre before (two colours and a fade between a two! That's like 100 different shades!) But I love this skirt. Similarly this maxi from ASOS Marketplace looks perfectly floaty. I do have a sheer maxi dress but this sheer maxi skirt it very tempting too, from ASOS.

Paired with a crop top it was lovely and cool, but as I'm a little scared of burning (my skin is unbelievably sensitive) I threw on my DIY jacket to protect from rays, and dragged my hair up into some easy buns.

I felt like a 90s Gwen Stafani and pretty good but Harlow was not so keen. I'm getting a bit world weary of constant comments and stares when I go out in my home town. Obviously the way to solve it is to dress only like a Topshop or River Island model with NO variation.

Obviously I won't be doing that instead I'm looking st cautious clothes in my wardrobe with scissors in hand wondering what I should crop next.
