RELAXED TARTAN.

I'm feeling very energetic this morning despite not wanting to leave bed snuggled next to Chris. I was actually quite awake last night too. I think it might have something to do with having some Lucozade Revive yesterday evening. For someone who doesn't drink caffeine that small amount was enough to jeep me up hours later. I didn't even have the whole bottle!

I think it's time I shared a post that I don't rave on about my denim gilet. This outfit I wore as an after work look- and nothing beats my Mod Dolly tartan dress for comfort.

Dress: Mod Dolly
Sheer long sleeve top: Fashion Union
Creepers: Camden Market (similar here)
Necklace: Gogo Philip
Satchel: Primark

I'm in love with my necklace from Gogo Philip. I'm so glad that after wanting it to long I finally own it. I bought it from the Topshop store in Oxford Street and I was so tempted to buy more (I also bought some beautifuarrings for my mum's birthday). It's lucky Topshop doesn't have baskets or I would have filled it up. Plus it brings out the conditions on my dress perfectly.

The sheer sleeves is actually a crop top. I bought it for the sole reason for its sleeves, I wanted the option of covering up my arms for a little extra warmth. I really like the sporty stripes on the sleeves- I think it gives it a little bit of an edge to just plain sleeves but subtle enough not to stand out. Mine is from Fashion Union, but they also sell a plainer one here. Plus Topshop sell an amazing mesh sleeved top with this beautiful "V" on the neck.

This evening I'm spending searching furniture stores ready to kit out my new room now my sister has moved out. I can't wait for twice the space and a useable wardrobe!

  13. Wow, I can't believe you're wearing a crop top underneath, I thought it was part of a dress! I actually have a dress in the exact same Tartan print and exact same style, but now that I look at how you put it together, I regret not wearing a sleeved top under. I would have looked so much more chic :)
