Wow! Where have I been? Why am I still so tired? Why isn't my holiday tomorrow? This weekend was a step closer to relaxing.
I was thoroughly spoilt Saturday evening after work- after expecting to come home to a completely empty house Chris surprised me with not only returning there so I wasn't alone (after leaving him in bed) but he had cleaned, plus cooked me a veggie lasagne (with extra mushrooms on my part and lots of garlic bread), chocolate, wine, a back rub and a special playlist designed to let me fall asleep cuddling on the sofa :) He even ran down to get me a drink in the night.
What have I done to deserve him?
Sunday I won tickets to London Fashion Weekend (from the awesome Georgina from Georgina Goodman) and took my best friend April. Perfect end to the whole LFW thing. Picked me up perfectly (both of us really) leaving us both with a wish list as tall as me, and the trend catwalk was super inspiring. Watch out for the post.
So London Fashion Week is over for another season but despite the best of intentions I missed a lot of my plans- sorry Fashion in Film (at St Martyns courtyard) and the presentations at Fashion Scout I just didn't have the time.
I decided this LFW I wasn't really interested in my own ootd- I completely forgot to take one for day one (and day 2 & 3 only covered thanks to Clare and Lucia) I think it was the effect of my sisters wedding but I just didn't feel right the whole time with how I looked (even though I loved my outfits) so wasn't keen. This season was all about meeting people, both new and old :)
Sunday at LFW for me nearly didn't happen- I was exhausted, my back was killing me and my skin and hair felt awful. I nearly jumped off the train at Stratford and went straight back home.
I'm glad I stuck it out as not even a minute entering Somerset House I met Law, who I've wanted to meet for I don't know how long. I was a little bit starstruck- I've always loved the Law from Her blog and Twitter but what I met was that times 1000. Really she's super awesome. Plus I got to meet Megan, Clare, Sade, Lauren, and if I've forgotten anyone I'm sorry!
Lauren (from The Girl Who Stole London) kindly invited us to the Sophia Webster presentation and oh my GOTH!!! She might be The Girl Who Stole London but she's The Girl Who Made London Fashion Week!! It was AMAZING!!! By far the crowning point if not just this season but every LFW I've seen. Here's a few snaps but I honestly can't wait to show you!!
Sorry about my massive absence (and I know I've said it before) but there will be better blogging in further now the stress of my sisters wedding has gone (and I've sorted out my own career goals). Monday at LFW will be up tomorrow.
