TIE DYE

Wow I haven't blogged for a while- I'm still alive (obviously) just busy. But soon it will be post my sisters wedding, and time for London Fashion Week. I'm there from Sunday onwards so if you're going come find me- I'm useless spotting people in crowds.

Then it's time to prepare for my long awaited holiday- I've not had a holiday in AGES! (Years- I've not even had a day off since February) and two weeks with my best friend will be the best.

Blog wise after LFW I'm "stepping it up". I'm going to attempt a bit of beauty blogging, and generally branch out a bit more. I'm also going to do a redesign.

This outfit I wore Saturday- the last day I'll see Chris in a while. It's something comfortable and easy, my much worn vintage velvet skirt and my DIY crop sweater. (Ps how Cool is my tie dye flag as the perfect backdrop?)

Crop sweater: DIY
Skirt: Vintage
Silver stone ring: Gogo Philip
Jacket: River Island
Double finger ring: The Bohemian Collective
Choker: eBay
Bag: Primark

I'm so glad I've finally wore my vintage velvet skirt again- I really tried not to wear it all summer as its probably my favourite winter item so was perfect for the temperature drop Saturday. It was warm enough to pair with my leather and cropped sweater for errand running. unfortunately we decided to go to an AMAZING local folk festival with some friends in a forest in the evening and I froze to death.

The music was fantastic, the vibe was unbelievable friendly but it was in the middle of a forest next to a lake and the temperature massively dropped after dark. No amount of hot chocolate, stargazing and most of Chris clothes helped.

I think the accessories make this look (it would be nothing without them) especially my leather choker and bun crown. I think my choker is the best thing I've bought in months- and 100% going to LFW with me :)

The bun crown I've wore before on this blog but never in a bun. It's actually really simple to tie on and didn't move all day without clips. It jammed up the outfit and I really like it. I'm dying my hair soon and I know it will look amazing with the new colour. Other than my lilac crown from Roses and Clementines, I love this daisy blossom one too, and these simple hair bands from Claire's is a simple look.
