BLACK LOAFERS

It's time for the much awaited purple haired outfit post (because I know you were all waiting on the edge if your seats).

All black looks are still my favourite sort of looks so I paired my loafers with my black Missguided smock and its partner in crime: a pair of leggings. I barely put leggings on these days without my smock.

Loafers: Linzi
Smock: Missguided
Leggings: Primark
Satchel: Primark
Rose Necklace: Vintage

A/w for me is all about sensible shoes, sturdy, waterproof and flat. So I welcomed into my life these awesome fringed loafers- finally! I saw them a few months ago but considering the bottom of my wardrobe has shoes stacked over 2 1/2 feet high I'm trying to be sensible and only get things that will last the weather well as season to season.

It was a tough choice in store between these chunky man-repelling flats, simple flatforms and the heeled loafers. I ended up buying the chunky ones but only after going to Schuh, Office and having to remind myself I already gave heeled loafers).

At least I have pretty new shoes as once I return from holiday I'm on a spending ban. My dreams of returning to university isn't going to fund itself, it's all coming out of my pocket (unless I win the lottery). If anyone has any advice about applying a mature student I would love to hear it- particularly personal statement advice.

I'm finding it impossible to fit my 24 (ish) years on this planet into 4000 characters, in fact I'm struggling just to fit this past years experience.

  5. I love the hair, it's gorgeous :) And the shoes to-I'm loving this style at the moment. I know what you mean about personal statements, I don't how different it is for mature students but my undergrad one was such a pain. I think , for me it just felt so unatural writing a whole page talking about how great I was :/ haha Good luck!
