"I'M REALLY A MERMAID".

I actually planned to post this first thing this morning but today has been super busy! Hospital appointments, optician appointments (where Chris bought some VERY handsome new glasses) and after bumping into loads of people everything I wanted to do today has been delayed. Fortunately I found time to get a super awesome hair tutorial that will be up on Tuesday :D Now just to finish the 20 other things on my to do list and I will be ready for another week at work.

One of the things I wanted to start on my blog this year is giving more time to items/makeup/everything I felt was being ignored in outfits posts as the right accessory makes the outfit, and I've spent a small fortune on jewellery. When I first saw these amazing mermaids earrings I fell in love and (months later) when I eventually found the seller I was ecstatic.

They're made by Laura from I Love Crafty and wow she's super creative! Her mermaids collection is probably the best thing I've seen in ages (and a lot of other bloggers agree) and I couldn't wait to share these earrings I bought with you. I was actually surprised how big they were when they arrived- they're huge (about the size of a 10p) and look fantastic on.

In direct sunlight- so you can see the glittery effect better.

I had a hard decision between these in blue or pink (they also come in gold) and eventually picked these as I was worried the pink would clash with my hair. But may be I should get both?

The reason I was drawn to these was my ambition to have amazing long mermaid like hair. I'm not there yet :( If anyone could give me some hair growing tips that would be great.

  1. the gold version would be so pretty! and all I can say there's nothing that'll make your hair grow quicker (darn it) but using oils and little trims to keep it healthy is what i'd say! and avoid using heat as much as you can!
