Up until 2 years ago I always had short hair. Being thick and curly it was easier as a child to cut the majority off then struggle in the morning, and as a teen I loved pixie cuts. So when I decided to grow out my hair two years ago I was expecting to cut it all off pretty quickly.
I've realised why my mum always cut off my hair- any lower than my ears and it knots like a tumble weed. I can't get a comb through it full stop, struggled with brushes (pulling out hair and teeth) and ended up with a short matted action at the nape of my neck.
I seriously contemplated cutting it all off until I read Sandras post on her Tangle Teezers. Obviously I had to get the leopard print one.
Greatest hair brush EVER!!!
Not only does it remove all the knots without feeling like I'm ripping my hair out, but it's reduced breakage- yay for no longer scalping myself!
It doesn't go through all of my hair- I still have to section to insure all of its brushed, but it even goes through my hair wet without losing it, and has handled the matted bit easily. Being the compact it fits easily in my hand and handbag.
How did it take me so long to buy one?
This isn't my only purchase lately- hopefully I can share some soon as this has been another week outfit photo-less I really need to get back into it. I've just been so busy I haven't had time (or dry weather) to pester Chris into taking them.
