It's getting cold here in Essex but I'm unwilling  to give up my skirts and dresses (mostly as I don't seem to own trousers anymore) so wearing them as weather appropriate is taking some inspiration. Fortunately I have always been head over heels in love with faux fur (and coats in general) so my torso is cosy but  my legs are taking a battering.

I HATE tights with a passion (especially under dresses) so I'm trying out the casual boot look for everyday dressing- as I love the feeling that stockings give to a completed outfit but I fear ruining my favourites wearing them every day.

Dress: Vivien of Holloway (similar here and here)
Petticoat: Hell Bunny (similar here and here)
Boots: River Island
Bag: Gucci
Belt: New Look
Faux fur coat: Vintage

Out of all the Vivien of Holloway clothing I own this was the first thing I bought- so I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to share. I bought it second hand via eBay so it was a little worn but still has a lot of life left in it. Its a real sign of how high in quality VOH clothing is to last through this much wear.

My Hell Bunny petticoat is my favourite of petticoats its super fluffy and big (as well as super soft) but is slightly longer than all my dresses. I'm not sure if i actually prefer my petticoat longer than my dress- what do you think?

I feel excited about dressing myself again after the stress of uni. I have only 2 weeks left on placement until Christmas, one assignment is complete and my essay only has a few alterations I can take my time completing for January. The hard work has paid off.

I can rock any outfits, come follow my online diary

  2. Dresses do make an outfit seem more well-rounded to me... maybe cause it's just one flowing continous piece of wonder. :D JODIE DUDE, I haven't commented in forever and for that I apologize. I'm back I think maybe I swear I hope EEK.

  3. You are so brave! I neeeed tights at the cold days. You look super lovely as always :-)
