Round Ups baked by Ananda Foods are the greatest thing I have ever had in mouth. So much so that I barely had time to take these photos and nearly cried after offering Chris a bite and him taking just a little too much. There was a lot of regret after offering to share- but I know if Chris liked it too we would have them again.

I stopped eating neat when I was 5 years old so I haven't had a Wagon Wheel in I don't know how long (as they contain gelatine) but still remembered them as a kid. Vegetarian marshmallows are SO hard to find- so spotting Ananda's stall at V Delicious made me very happy. A bag of strawberry marshmallows, a DIY kit and a Round Up later I left happy.

These taste better then what I remember Wagon Wheels tasting like. The chocolate biscuit was amazing, the marshmallow fantastic and it even had jam! Rather than being bitter like some dark chocolate can be the biscuit was luxurious- reminding me of a really good chocolate cake rather than a biscuit and paired nicely with the sweet but slightly tangy jam.

I'm a bit sad I only bought one- but fortunately Ananda has an online store and at only £2.50 each they're really reasonably priced for special vegetarian food. Plus after a stressful week I really needed the pick me up. I've been so bust I've not taken any ootd photos on weeks :( but hopefully you'll appreciate something different.

This weekend has been a busy one so sleeping most of yesterday was needed. Thursday at uni was fantastic (I'm so excited) and Dylan is much better but I'm so tired.

Saturday was fun but really took it out of me- we risked (despite the predicted summer storm) a BBQ fir my sisters birthday and lots of laughing later we all went home happy. Mostly because it didn't rain!

Planning for bad weather I dressed appropriately. I wore one of my favourite dresses but left the petticoat at home as it was too hot first thing for it, a cardigan for the evening and a head scarf to hide my messy hair as I was expecting rain.

Dress: eBay
Belt: New Look
Bag: eBay
Cardigan: Primark (similar here and here)
Scarf: Vintage
Shoes: Shoe Zone (similar here, here and here)

I love this dress and I'm really glad I tried it without a petticoat- it's so wearable and as its a circle skirt still looks really full and floaty.
I've got into the habit of wearing my cardigans with only the top button fastened. I saw it on Amanda (from Junebugs and Georgina Peaches) and fell in love with the look.

I'm sorry I've been awful with blogging- I've personally struggled if I should carry on at uni which is why I lost my mojo. I am (so I'm back) but I'm going to make a few changes hopefully these which will impact only a little. In fact I think once I get to wear normal.clothes everyday my blogging will actually improve.

Skirt: River Island
Earrings: I Love Crafty
Shirt: Vintage
Shoes: Linzi
Belt: Primark
Bag: eBag (similar here

I love this  skirt but boy is it revealing- you cab see every bump and mouthful of food digesting; as such I rarely wear it as things like the obvious shirt crumple above annoys me. Plus this shirt really likes to crease so its very noticable under my skirt. Other than that I love this shirt- I'm on a nautical hype at the moment I'm obsessed with anything sailor inspired.

My new Popcorn bag is my favourite purchase of late- I've got a ton of compliments from it already and the colours in the bag matches perfectly with the rest of my outfit.. For once I think I am actually wearing a matching outfit- and a monotone look too. It's like I'm a proper fashion blogger.

I know I've been less than attentive to blogging, with my pre-reg day at Cambridge tomorrow (beyond excited) and my dog being very ill (to the point I wasn't sure he wouldd make it as he's getting on a bit) life has been more important. Weekends are full of date with Chris and looking at bass gutairs (sorry outfit posts) and seeing frineds (sorry reading other blogs) and eveings are for sleeping. I feel like I might start putting in less "life" into my blogs but I worry it will get a bit dry. Or I should just wait for life to slow down again.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned my love of these flat Jelly shoes before but they need a proper post.  These are my easy go to summer shoes, something I seem to “settle” for wearing even though settle isn’t really the right word.

Although these where won form a giveaway theres similar here, here and here and the style is seriously something I would recommend compared to the heeled variety. I remember Jelly shoes when I was younger and how they used to kill my feet- these haven’t rubbed in the slightest. Plus without the heel they’re comfortable to wear all day and (compared to friends and family who have bought the heeled variety that have fallen apart) a lot more hard wearing.

Dress: Hell Bunny (similar here and here
Bracelet: Pip Jolley
Petticoat: eBay
Shoes: Giveaway
Bag: Topshop
Sunglasses: Depop (similar here)

I was so excited about owing this dress form Hell Bunny that I’m not even slightly unhappy with the effect on my chest (hello huge boobies).  After months of being envious with how well my best fined suited her Hell Bunny beauties- and seeing this on Depop- I HAD to have it and I’m so glad.

Being the circle skirted pin up shape I love, and a super cute but creepy print (who doesn’t love zombie unicorns) I thought It would be perfect on summery days when I didn’t want to wear knee lengths and be entirely sensible. I may be attracted to the pin up aesthetic but I’m still an ex-punk/emo and after years of getting my skin out being covered is new for me. These short dresses seem the perfect mix. The only slight problem is its VERY short; I don’t think I can wear it without my petticoat underneath-not that I think I would ever want to as I love the princess look it gives.

I wore this out with Chris for a BBQ with some new friends and it was a blast. I really feel like I’ve locked myself away recently being so engrossed with applying to uni that I’m really starting to look forward to starting so I can get some time off- ha ha ha. My course set up means I have a day at uni and a study day so only 3 days on placement- a 3 day working week sounds like a breeze for me where I have been working 5 days plus preparing for Uni means my free time has been pretty non-existent. I feel like all the sacrifices I’ve made in these last few months (or years) are going to pay off come the second of September.

This post is much overdue (I don’t know why I haven’t posted it yet) but finally its up- and a very different post for me. Not only is it void of my face but also the photo wasn’t even taken by me!

This actually a photo of my best friend April taken by Andrew Wood Photography in Manchester.

Around Christmas Georgina from Fuller Figure Fuller Bust (who I idolise) ran a competition to have a paid phtotoshoot with Andrew Wood photography- with the requirements to email her with a reason why you think you deserved the shoot. To be honest I didn’t think I deserved it- I thought April deserved it and I poured my heart out into an email about how incredibly awesome she is for what she goes through- including how much she puts up with rom me (this could easily have been several paragraphs of insults which only best friends can share between each other). In fact I completely put it out of my mind forgetting to actually tell her I had entered (usually we share all competitions between each other).

We didn’t win, but being so successful Georgina and Andrew Wood Photography gave out a few runner up prizes which we did win- cue exciting moment when I told April she had won. I can say about the Andrew Wood Photography team is we have never met a bunch of girls as kind and calming as them (even rearranging our appointment when we got stuck in traffic and ended up late). To the point where April has already arranged a revisit to them.

Not only did they make up both feel at ease and where a right laugh in taking the photos- but the work they put on to create the perfect images is outstanding- we have both been to photo shoots where you feel like you’re just standing in front of a camera but the girls where awesome in directing April even snapping away as she was rolling on the floor laughing at the jokes we were making. If I can say all of this and not be the one in front the camera I don’t know what else need to be said to convince you to try them out- or what took me so long to share the photo. A Massive thank you to everyone at Andrew Wood Photography for giving April the day and image she deserved.

P.S. thank you to April and Andrew Wood Photography for the image!
